Welcome to the Second International Workshop on Lipid Mediators!

Valladolid, June 12-13, 2008

This two-day workshop is primarily addressed to scientists interested in the field of bioactive lipid mediators. We especially welcome graduate and postdoctoral students to attend this workshop, and attendance is free.

The workshop has two main goals:

1) to bring together researchers to discuss the latest results and developments in this area; and

2) to promote interaction and exchange of ideas among the different laboratories.

For this second workshop, scientists from across Europe have been invited to share their expertise in a number of research topics that include the state-of-the-art knowledge of the biochemistry of fatty acids and eicosanoids, the involvement of these lipid mediators in inflammation and their role in several disease conditions.
